What Is ANNE?

ANNE is the world’s first “data currency” used to broadcast transactions that build a neuromorphic hypergraph. ANNE is a new type of Layer One Technology that realizes promises that the crypto industry failed to fulfil. The open graph serves as a decentralized OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) resource creating a hyper-connected graph of knowledge, people, events, dates, places and any information that can be conceptualized using the 1Schema data protocol. It removes the need for 3rd party data intermediaries by creating its own local server which can be queried locally or opened up to the public.

ANNE enables the full picture to be seen, whatever that is. ANNE data is oracle data.

ANNE is the native token that is used for:

• Fees for creating data edges in the graph, firing neurons, participating in futures/prediction markets, expressing feedback (feelz/opinionz) and whenever broadcasting any ANNE transaction.

• Fees for ANNEXing the sponsorship of a neuron. Sponsors receive an ongoing stream of annecoin whenever neurons they sponsor are fired in the hypergraph.

• Bounties and drawings which distribute annecoin.

• Accommodation used in ANNE-Settled Data Futures (ASDF) for futures or prediction markets around any potential future data point in ANNE. This includes but is not limited to sporting scores, statistics, commodity prices, event dates or any possible data point stored. Baby boy or girl? Will Bob kick the bucket by end of 2028? Will it rain in Philly tomorrow? Will BTC hit $1M by end of 2030? If that data is being stored in ANNE then an ASDF can be created utilizing this data.

ANNE tools include: 

• ANNODE – the GUI or headless java program which create a local web server node which can be queried at L1 privately or opened up for the public to query and use.
• Multiple applications which allow for interaction and use of the ANNE hypergraph. These can be added to by the community and included in future ANNODE releases. They can also be added privately by ANNODE operators and run locally.
• ANTOR file sharing which is an A2A (annode-to-annode) encrypted transfer protocol best described as an IPFS/BitTorrent hybrid. Files are served by participating annodes and can be used to distribute applications to run on annodes. This is a Decentralized-CDN.
• Miner for PoC (Proof of Capacity) mining on hard drives for low-energy. Rules are setup in such a way to prevent proliferation of hardware and both a SOLO mining reward and 7 SHARE mining rewards are available each block.
• ALT-DATA-NETWORK for use and distribution of non-consensus data that supports any alt-data use case in conjunction with hypergraph and ANTOR files. ALT-DATA providers can store data in their annode tables and utilize the existing network for a powerful distribution of data that isn’t necessarily a good fit for a hypergraph but still required and helpful in use cases.

How Many ANNE Coins Are There in Circulation?

ANNE launched its mainnet on December 12, 2023 with 0 coins created at inception. The Genesis block was mined and paid out 1 million ANNE coins. There will be a 2.2 trillion annecoin supply over a 40+ year period. A portion of every block reward is put into the ADF (ANNE Development Fund) which is used for marketing, bounties, and paying developers to build additional community tools. The portion received by the ADF reduces each block on a schedule until it sunsets. No annecoins were pre-mined.

Who Are the Founders of ANNE?

ANNE is the lifework of Mr. Scatman, who has been a data/report analyst, e-commerce manager, and AGI programmer by profession who resigned from the corporate world and has solely dedicated 8+ years to building the world’s first Data Currency. This work first initiated in the AGI space and has evolved into the decentralized hypergraph it now is via combining account-based P2P tokens with a neuromorphic hypergraph using one data schema (1Schema) at Layer 1.
