What is BIM?

BIM is the governance token of the BIM DAO. BIM token holders receive voting power in the BIM DAO, which oversees all aspects of the protocol, BIM Exchange.

The value and rarity of a BIM are determined by all the activities and revenues of the BIM DAO

Who Are the Founders of BIM?

The BIM project was born in August 2022, the fruit of an ambitious vision driven by Léo Pestre and Damian Py.

BIM's objective was clear from the outset: to create a complete ecosystem that facilitates the integration of blockchain into the real economy, while supporting the innovation and development of startups and SMEs. This vision was driven by the conviction that blockchain can be a powerful engine for reindustrialization and the valorization of know-how.

BIM's pivot towards increasing decentralization marked a significant evolution in its strategy. The group broadened its horizons to develop a complete ecosystem centered around its governance token, BIM. This transformation has created an extensive range of services and utilities for the token, enriching its ecosystem.

What Makes BIM Unique? The BIM Token is the governance token for the team and its objectives. It is the central asset that links all BIM project stakeholders, in order to perpetuate the virtuous cycle of value creation around which BIM was invented.

The token's usefulness is twofold: on the one hand, token holders have the right to vote on important governance decisions. Secondly, a portion of all revenues generated by the BIM Exchange protocol goes towards our incentive programs for token holders. Incentives are paid on a regular basis.

How Many BIM Coins Are There in Circulation? As with many digital assets, only a fixed number of BIM tokens will be issued. The total supply is capped at 314 million BIM tokens.

Of these 314 million tokens, just over 6 million will be distributed to the liquidity provider for listing on centralized and decentralized platforms. 89% were burned following the [DAO vote] (https://snapshot.org/#/daobim.eth/proposal/0x7c07b763722c3393563729d2fa43eab6de9b85afeea88f7dccf16b864667d26a).

Finally, just over 22 million BIM tokens are reserved for community governance incentives and the remaining 10% tokens will be allocated to future team members.

The exact BIM issuance rate is likely to change over time, as voters can increase or decrease the issuance rate by passing a proposal through [community governance] (https://snapshot.org/#/daobim.eth).

How Is the BIM Protocol Secured? Being powered by the Polygon blockchain, the project is secured by a proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. Validators on the network will stake their MATIC tokens as collateral to become part of the network’s PoS consensus mechanism and will receive MATIC tokens in return.

Where Can You Buy BIM? BIM is listed on major cryptocurrency exchanges. BIM is paired with different tokens on centralized platforms like BIM Exchange, BIM Exchange Argentina Dex-Trade, Tapbit, P2B... It is also available on decentralized exchanges like and Uniswap.
