The technical vision drives towards lowering base specifications required for edge compute that can therefore increase user adoption through the use of a wider range of hardware. A ‘pixar level’ AAA graphics experience shouldn’t only be reserved for those that can afford it and a change in approach to world building is required to deliver that to enable all users, regardless of their ability levels. Limitations of existing platforms include a poor graphics experience, a lack of accessibility and inclusion mechanics, bugs across the backend technology impacting user-generated content, massive open-world navigation disorientation and low-quality game production. This is due to current game engine technology not being designed for the metaverse, and the necessary workarounds result in high development costs and long build times. High-spec end-user devices are required to access existing platforms, reducing user adoption expansion because of the cost barrier associated with required hardware.
Current platforms have content creation tools located outside of the platforms via additional application downloads that require assets to be published back into the live environment.. We will be putting the editing tools in the game directly – in the hands of the user so they can harness the full abilities of the game engine technology & tooling without complexity, so users are leveraging the same tools and UI/UX that developers are (with levels of feature sets from novice to expert). Any content needed (e.g. blender, photoshop, other) can be directly imported into the live game without any other external tools/cooking. The user will own the content and add to their wallet/account as it is created and locally cached.
We will win as we are building from the ground up, with no code-bloat, fast iteration times and a higher graphics experience all intertwined with compelling and engaging gaming lore and narrative. Many of the existing platforms lack the engaging story that entices and keeps users on the platforms. The combination of both technology and story is our winning formula.
