Network3 is a project focused on decentralized AI infrastructure. It is building an AI Layer2 network and Edge AI infrastructure to overcome the limitations of traditional centralized AI and enable a more fair, efficient, and democratic AI ecosystem.

The AI industry faces a few major challenges including: Monopoly of Leading Companies: The AI industry is dominated by a few giants (such as OpenAI, Google, and Meta), which control vast amounts of data, top talent, and computational power. This centralization gives these companies a competitive edge while limiting opportunities for small businesses and startups, slowing down innovation across the industry.

High Barriers for Startups: Running large AI models requires significant funding and computational power, and the big players also monopolize the data resources. This makes it difficult for startups to access quality data and compete with industry giants.

Unfairness to End Users: The current AI business model lacks fairness for users. They pay for services and are forced to give up personal data, which companies use to generate profits. Users lose ownership of their data and gain no benefits or rewards.

Network3 offers a unique solutions to these challenges. Decentralized AI Training and Development: Using DePIN technology, Network3 allows anyone to contribute to training small AI models through their IoT devices. Users share bandwidth, datasets, and computing power, collectively building AI models and decentralizing AI development.

"Sharing Economy" Incentive Mechanism: Network3 has designed an adaptive Proof of Contribution consensus incentive mechanism to ensure fair rewards for resource contributors while supporting the stable development of the entire network. Participants are rewarded with tokens (N3 Points) for contributing computational resources, bandwidth, and data, turning smart devices into sustainable income-generating assets.
