Cosmo is a community-driven cryptocurrency project launched on the Base blockchain on 19/7/2025. Designed as a memecoin with a strong narrative foundation, Cosmo emerged in response to a Base chain update video that featured a dog character—echoing the appearance of a similar cat mascot featured the year prior, which sparked the Miggles meme project. Building on that parallel, Cosmo was created exactly one year later as a culturally aligned, story-rich meme asset tied to Base’s ecosystem.

The project is developed and maintained by an active decentralized community operating under a CTO (Community Take Over). There is no centralized development team or corporate structure. Instead, Cosmo’s direction is shaped by its holders and contributors through collaborative content creation, platform building, and promotional activity. Cosmo launched with a fixed total supply of 1 Billion Cosmo, with no team allocation.
